The rebirth of the Oliver library has begun.
Okanagan Regional Library staff have been busy moving furniture and shelving units to the new location in Oliver Place Mall, where community librarian Marigje Toepfer is diligently setting up shop.
She gave the Times-Chronicle a brief tour, showing the wide open space, meeting rooms and storage area in the location previously occupied by the SEARS hometown store at the back of the mall.
Okanagan Regional Library believes the new, central location will be more convenient for patrons. It is slated to open some time in June.
