The Town of Osoyoos, in conjunction with Interior Health Authority, has received satisfactory water sample results for Legion Beach and the Swimming Advisory issued on August 9, 2022 is now revoked.
Satisfactory samples consist of those taken over a 30-day period containing an average of less than or equal to 200 E. coli bacteria/100ml.
Unsatisfactory samples are those taken over a 30-day period containing an average of more than 200 E. coli bacteria/100ml, and/or a series of single sample results exceeding 400 E. coli bacteria/100ml.
