The ice is out, it’s shorts weather, and Oliver Arena was filled with lacrosse, and not hockey, during the first full week of April.
The Penticton Minor Lacrosse Association held tryouts this past week for players in the Novice, Peewee, Bantam and Midget Divisions.
Association head coach Del Halladay was in the standings watching the players perform.
Workouts will resume in Penticton next week.
For further information on lacrosse, and how to join, watch for a story in the Chronicle next week, and check out the PMLA website: www.pentictonlacrosse.ca.
