Ron Cramton shows a wooden item to Georgeann Reimer of Osoyoos at the Kiwanis Club of Osoyoos Spring Craft Fair on Saturday. Cramton, from Oliver, along with Ralph Bursey make lathe-turned wood products, often using raw wood from cherry, apple and other orchard trees. He said he’s only been turning wood for about a year, but he watched a lot of YouTube to learn the techniques. (Richard McGuire photo)

George McKay from Osoyoos shows off some of the items he makes from wood, discarded antlers and other materials at his booth at the Kiwanis Club of Osoyoos Spring Craft Fair on Saturday. The earrings and pendants use antlers that deer and elk shed in the late fall and no animals died in the making of his products, he said. The Elvis coasters, drawn on cork with a laser, sell at every show, he said. There are a lot of Elvis Presley fans out there. (Richard McGuire photo)

The fair included a number of booths featuring handmade products from local crafters. Here are a couple of them.
