While nobody walked away with a job, employment seekers garnered a lot of information about what’s out there for work at yesterday’s spring job fair in Oliver.
Sen Pok Chin school was the venue that featured a variety of employers looking for people with good attitudes and some work experience. But as chef Jeff Van Geest said from Miradoro Restaurant, experience isn’t everything. He noted that personality and a hard work ethic are more important than anything else.
