Dear Editor:
It was with mixed feelings that I read your reporting on Jo Knight leaving Destination Osoyoos. Having been privileged to be a part of the interview process some six years ago when D.O. hired Jo Knight to be the Manager of the Visitor Centre in Osoyoos I experienced first hand the attributes of Jo.
Through the ensuing four plus years that I worked with Jo as a member of the board and then as chair, I was constantly reminded of the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm that she brought to everything she did.
Osoyoos has been well served by the single-minded dedication of this professional that touched many in our community. While I fully understand the rapidly changing challenges in our fast-moving society, it certainly does not in any way diminish the outstanding job that Jo has done for our community.
I echo Mayor Wells comments and agree that Jo will do well at whatever she decides to do.
