Parents, students and business leaders in Osoyoos came together this morning for a rally to protest the potential closure of Osoyoos Secondary School as part of the district’s cost cutting measures.
Hundreds gathered outside the school with signs and placards in a show of solidarity against the option of closing OSS and busing students to Southern Okanagan Secondary School in Oliver.
The school board expects to make a decision on one of two options on April 6.
