Students and staff at Osoyoos Secondary School recently participated in their annual Hoops for Heart fundraiser and helped raise more than $1,400 for the regional office of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Students raised funds by throwing free throws. The school’s students have been supporting the Hoops for Hearts fundraiser for more than 25 years. Wendy Wright (back row centre), events co-ordinator for the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s regional office in Kelowna, was on hand for the cheque presentation. (Keith Lacey photo)
