The Apple Pie Baking Contest at The Keremeos Grist Mill and Gardens begins at 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Monday, October 13th.
Three judges will award first, second and third place ribbons. The winners will receive $80, $50, $35 gift certificates.
The Apple Day Pancake Breakfast starts at 10 a.m.. Burgers and smokies are served from noon to 2 p.m.
Apple Day will feature family entertainer, Mat Duffus at 1 p.m., an Apple Race down Keremeos Creek. There will be fresh pressed apple juice, candied apples and “guess how many apples in the barrel” contest.
Admission price is reduced and kids six and under can attend for free.
