B.C.  Premier John Horgan announced that in response to concerns about the spread of COVID-19, K-12 Education will be suspended until further notice.

“This is a crisis situation. There’s no making it sound any better,” Horgan said at a press conference today.

Minister of Education Rob Fleming said the actions they’re announcing are well thought out.

Every student will receive a final mark and every student eligible to graduate from Grade 12 this year will graduate, he said.

“We will return to regular school life down the road,” he added.

More information will follow.
