Councillors are.

Osoyoos' former top cop ended up being the top vote getter in last Saturday's municipal election.
Cronmiller topped the polls with an impressive 1,185 votes, followed by Allan Carswell at 1,061, Dick Flintoft at 961, Stu Wells at 956.
While those four will make up the next council, there were five unsuccessful council candidates. They were: Sherry Linn (840), Jean Gubby (811), Phil McLeod (592), Sy Murseli (529) and Jim Shaw (446).
Cronmiller, who served as Sergeant of the local RCMP Detachment before his recent retirement, thanked everyone who voted for him.
I am humbled by the amount of votes I received and look forward to continuing my service to the Town of Osoyoos. I believe the people of Osoyoos have spoken and we have received a mandate to move on.
It is important for the new council and mayor to provide leadership and show we can manage and sustain development to the satisfaction of the community. I look forward to the next three years and what we can do together as a community, Cronmiller said.
Carswell also thanked the community for supporting him.
I would like to thank everyone who voted because without you, there is no democracy. It is unfortunate that our freedom of speech deteriorated into personal attacks during the campaign, instead of allowing an open exchange of ideas. We all need to work together in becoming a stronger community, Carswell said.
I look forward to my new role as Councillor and will do my best to serve the community fairly. To everyone who supported me, my sincere thanks.rnWells said he felt honoured to have been elected from such a strong field of candidates.
I hope all the candidates are recognized for their commitment to our community. The campaign leading to the election was so positive and rewarding. I would like to thank all the people who shared their concerns, issues and questions, particularly those who came out to the storefront.
I am looking forward to being a part of the team that charts our course and responds to our challenges over the next three years. Thanks, Osoyoos, said Wells.
He may not have topped the polls as he did in past elections, but Dick Flintoft proved he is a force to be reckoned with in local politics.
Flintoft was returned by voters for another term on council, making this his third straight term as councillor.
Flintoft was the only incumbent councillor seeking re-election.
For electing me Councillor, I thank you. Thank you to the supporters of my campaign for their support. Congratulations to all the successful candidates. I am looking forward to working with you to ensure Osoyoos remains the best place to live in B.C.
To all the great candidates who put their heart and soul into wanting to be part of this great community, but were not elected, please keep in touch; your input will always be helpful, Flintoft said.
