Featuring Tiger Moon and Kentucky Eileen, the Osoyoos Concert Series is presenting a double header for the second concert in its 2019/2020 series on Nov. 21.

A West Canadian folk duo, Tiger Moon boasts harmonious sounds, heartfelt melodies and foot-stomping rhythms.

Performing with a guitar, mandolin, two sets of boots and two rich voices, Dan Tait and Kasey Graf are a force to be reckoned with.

The pair met in Kelowna and with an instant chemistry began performing together at jam nights and coffee houses.

After two cross-country tours, two EPs and one full-length album, the duo continues to wow audiences with their rich, harmony-driven sound drawing from traditional folk, Canadiana, soul and rock.

Joining them is Kentucky Eileen, a folk/bluegrass quartet born from the bush in B.C.’s South Interior.

Based around melodic swells and four-part harmony, four of the province’s most beloved musical savants comprise the lineup: Joshua Smith (The Trips), Dan Tait (Tiger Moon), Sam  Balson (Dope Folk, The Stone Sparrows), and Mitch Howanyk (Wild Son).

Inspired by Roger Miller and Ricky Skaggs, this quartet takes traditional American folk and bluegrass and gives it a supremely Canadian flavour, sonically akin to The Band.

They are all multi-instrumentalists, experienced storytellers and storied entertainers, prepared to bring you a spectacular show.

Tiger Moon and Kentucky Eileen perform at the Osoyoos Community Theatre at Osoyoos Secondary School at Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students, and available at Mills Office, Sundance Video or at the door.
