A new winery in Oliver has been a victim of a crime that has left the owner shaking her head in disbelief.
Montakarn Estate Winery on Black Sage Road reported that someone stole 13 flags from the property on Tuesday night (September 10). The flags on short posts represented various nations.
“I feel ashamed; it’s a shameful thing . . . this should not happen,” said winery owner Montakarn Misson.
The winery opened its doors on July 20 of this year.
