Another grass fire along Oliver’s hike and bike trail kept firefighters busy on Saturday.
Oliver Fire Department spokesman Rob Graham said the 100 by 200-foot blaze off Island Way Road burned surface grass and a fence post.
Graham said there were a couple of different stories on how it started but they couldn’t determine a definitive cause.
Last week firefighters were called to a grass fire just north of Oliver off the hike and bike trail.
