Kiwanis 3 WEBBIG CIRCLE OF SUPPORT – Greg Norton (middle) from the Loose Bay campground society has a lot to smile about these days as community support is rolling in for the campground’s new water system. Here, Bill Dallamore (left) and Larry Larson from the Kiwanis Club present Norton with a cheque for $3,500 towards the project. The community support has been overwhelming to the point that it’s “ridiculous,” Norton said, noting the society is close to raising the $46,000 needed for the infrastructure. Matching funds from the Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust just turned the Kiwanis cheque into $7,000. Norton said they are also getting a lot of support from the agriculture sector. Work on the Loose Bay water system is starting Friday and continues next week.
