The final event of the season for South Okanagan Drag Racers takes place today at Richter Pass Motorplex in Osoyoos.
It’s the last of a five-event season for the Wine Country Racing Association, with directors based primarily in Oliver and Osoyoos.
A total of 83 race cars, and a record 287 drag races were staged at the last event held Sept. 28.
Time trials take place from 10 am to noon, with eliminations beginning at 1 p.m, in the top one-eighth mile side-by-side drag racing in the south Okanagan.
Admission is just $10 per person, with youths 12 and under getting in for free when accompanied by an adult.
It’s a beautiful day to check out some drag racing in Osoyoos.
