Pappa’s Firehall Bistro held its official grand opening Friday afternoon, with owner Fotis and general manager Jon greeting dignitaries and invited guests – then opening for supper rush which lasted for hours.
Then, Friday evening, up the street on Fairview Road, Great Bear Bites held its official grand opening in the old Catholic Church, beside Medici’s.
Owner Tracy Lydiatt had a packed room full of friends, co-workers, politicians, media, and others who wanted to help Tracy celebrate the launch of her store opening, and of new product lines.
What exactly is Great Bear Bites you ask.

They will even have a karma box out front, in case the store is closed, offering patrons Great Bear Bites, and a karma box for payment, all based on the honour system.
