This is a comment related to the story about questions going unanswered regarding the Okanagan Correctional Centre.
Inmates should be released at the courthouses in Penticton and Kelowna . . . not in the tiny town of Oliver.
Oliver doesn’t even have policing at night . . . we cannot and should not receive the released (not rehabilitated) prisoners. The only people in Oliver that would benefit from releases here are drug dealers.
Local MLA Linda Larson should be fighting for the people of Oliver . . . silence.
