The Desert Arms Hotel and Howling Coyote Pub have shut down operations in Oliver.
In a Facebook post, Susan Murphy indicated that the Murphy family has decided to shut down the business on Main Street.
A caretaker is monitoring the property. The attached cannabis store is still operating as usual.
Murphy said the plan is to sell the building, noting the circumstances are “beyond our control.”
Murphy thanked the public for its understanding as the family tries to manoeuvre around a “difficult situation.”
The owners could not be reached for further comment.
