Oliver firefighters were called to a grass fire this afternoon at the Gallagher ranch on McKinney Road.
Local crews are being assisted by BC Wildfire personnel and at least one helicopter.
The Times-Chronicle attempted to gain access to the scene but was turned back by a road closure attendant.
As of 3:30 p.m., there was no report of damage to any structures.
