For the first time this season, there will be Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) action at the Oliver Arena this afternoon.
The Osoyoos Coyotes, who play the majority of their games at Sun Bowl Arena in Osoyoos, will be playing the first of two regular season games in Oliver, when they face the Princeton Posse.
Osoyoos has a league-best 11-2 record, and has a goal ratio of plus-35, by far the best in the KIJHL.
Princeton curretnly holds down second place in the Okanagan Division with a 7-3-1-2 record and 17 points, five points behind the Coyotes.
If you attend the game, watch for Rainer Glimpel, No. 14 of the Coyotoes, who has 22 points through 13 games, and is just two back of the league lead.
Face-off takes place at 1:30 p.m. in Oliver, and tickets will be available at the door.
