Another loss with a one-goal difference has the Osoyoos Coyotes still hungry for their first win.

The Coyotes took an 0-1 loss Saturday at home against the Revelstoke Grizzlies.

A late third-period goal from Cody Flann gave the Grizzlies the edge after a nearly scoreless game. New Coyotes goaltender Curt Doyle managed to keep the Grizzlies out of the net most of the game, knocking back 57 of 58 shots, with a save percentage of .983 per cent. Revelstoke racked up 23 penalty minutes, including two non-fighting game misconduct calls.

The Coyotes fell to the North Okanagan Knights earlier in the week during a home game on Oct. 9. The ‘yotes managed to put one in the net, but ultimately fell 5-1, remaining in last place in the Bill Ohlhausen division. The Coyotes remain six points behind the 2-5 Princeton Posse.

The Coyotes head to Kelowna on Oct. 18 for a Friday night match-up agains the Kelowna Chiefs, then they return home Saturday, Oct. 19 to face the Spokane Braves at Sun Bowl Arena at 7:35 p.m.
