The BC Coroners Service is investigating an apparent drowning on the eastern shore of Osoyoos Lake on the evening of Aug. 29.
RCMP officers from the Osoyoos detachment, along with first responders, were on the scene near Nk’Mip Campground Thursday at about 7:30 p.m. according to Osoyoos RCMP commander, Sgt. Jason Bayda.
As the provincial Coroners’ investigation is ongoing Sgt. Bayda was unable to provide any further information.
