Three cars were involved in a collision at the intersection of Hwy 97 and Hwy 3 in Osoyoos Thursday around noon.
It’s not clear how the accident unfolded but a Ford Mustang was left with substantial front-end damage while a small silver Toyota mounted the centre divider striking a Toyota Highlander in the left-hand turn lane.
The female driver of the silver Toyota was temporarily stuck in her vehicle as the driver’s door could not be opened. Once freed from the driver’s seat she was put on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance with unknown injuries.
The accident saw no less than three Osoyoos Fire Rescue trucks and one command car, one ambulance and two RCMP cars respond.
