Celebrated Canadian Tenor Michael Burgess performed his first concert in Oliver on Saturday, August 3 at the Community Bandshell. This magical night was filled with songs known to everyone, from The Lion King to The Phantom of the Opera. The music all-star as accompanied by pianist Carol Colpitts. The concert was organized by the Oliver Community Arts Council and attracted nearly 800 people, including guests from, Victoria, Vancouver, Port Alberni, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Michigan, Washington State and Japan.
