SympathycardwebJo Tanner (left) and Kim Marsh hold up a big sympathy card that Kim made for Cody O’Connor’s family. The duo went around town today getting people to sign the card. The eight-year-old boy died at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice last Friday after suffering serious burn injuries in a motorhome fire in Oliver August 28. His funeral is tomorrow (Thursday) in Penticton. In conjunction with the card, Tanner and Marsh collected $128 (six car loads) worth of recyclables to give to the family. Tanner was inspired to act because her two sons were good friends of Cody.
