Two deaths on a rural property north of Oliver have the RCMP and the BC Coroners Service working together to find out what happened.

On October 1 at approximately 9 a.m., Oliver RCMP attended a call where they found two people deceased inside a travel trailer parked at the agricultural workers’ campground (formerly Loose Bay) on Secrest Hill Road.

No further details are available.

“The investigation is ongoing, and an update may be provided when further details can be released,” the RCMP stated.

Media Relations Officer Cst. James Grandy confirmed these circumstances pose no immediate risk to public safety.
