The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is selling compost bins at wholesale prices until March 25, 2019. Composting is a great way to reduce your garbage by up to 30% – while creating plant food for your garden.
The compost bins will be available for pre-purchase only, at participating locations in the RDOS. The cost per bin is $49.00 plus tax. Bins will be delivered to the place of purchase in time for Earth Day on April 22.
Participating locations in Penticton include Canadian Tire, GardenWorks, and Home Hardware. Bins are also available at Canadian Tire in Oliver, Keremeos Home Building Centre, and Summerland Timber Mart.
