The Okanagan Gleaners Society hosted its annual open house on Saturday, May 11, a well-earned celebration of their meaningful efforts. Providing a helping hand are (from left), Emily Brock, Madelyn Bjornson, Paige Riley, and Rebekah Thomas. Every year the Gleaners provide some six million servings of dried vegetables to feed the world’s hungry. Since 1996 they have provided over 45 million servings worldwide.
