Starting Monday, March 8, seniors in Oliver and Osoyoos aged 90+ and Indigenous people aged 65+ can book an appointment to get their COVID-19 vaccine at the registered clinics.

In Oliver, the clinic is located at the Oliver Legion on 6417 Main Street. Osoyoos’ clinic will be at the Osoyoos Health Centre at 4816 89th Street. 

The clinics will start vaccinating people on March 15. Interior Health is asking for people booking to follow the schedule below in order to accommodate call volumes. Family members may call to book an appointment on behalf of eligible seniors. 

Call on or after Monday, March 8th if:

You were born in or before 1931 (90+ years)

You are an Aboriginal person born in or before 1956 (65+ years), and Elders

Call on or after Monday, March 15th if:

You were born in or before the year 1936 (85+ years)

Call on or after Monday, March 22nd if:

You were born in the year 1941 or earlier (80+ years)

A live agent at the call centre will assist with booking to provide an appointment date, time, and location. Make sure to have your personal health number ready when calling to book. 

For seniors who need help with booking appointments, Desert Sun Counselling Centre is offering assistance in the registration process. The centre is assisting with booking vaccination appointments as well as providing transportation to and from the clinic to those that need it.
