The only winless team in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, the Osoyoos Coyotes fell to the Princeton Posse on Tuesday night at the Princeton and District Arena, bringing their record to 0-15-2.
Coyote forward Brandon Della Paolera scored one in the second period, after five unanswered Princeton goals, and Brendan Moseley put a short-handed goal past Princeton goaltender Carter Woodside in the third. It wasn’t enough to mount a comeback after Princeton knocked in three more, two on power plays, to put the Coyotes away 8-2.
Coyotes goaltender Curt Doyle let in 8 of 38 shots, and Osoyoos put 24 shots on net with only two getting past Woodside.
Osoyoos fell to the Kelowna Chiefs on Nov. 1, in a 5-1 loss at Rutland Arena, and were unable to topple the North Okanagan Knights at home on Nov. 2, losing 4-1.
