Sicamous struck back later in the first, with Frazier Mohlar putting one past new Coyotes netminder Curt Doyle on the power play.

Coyotes forward Dylan Stevenson put the home team ahead in the second period at Sun Bowl Arena, but two unanswered Eagles goals by Jaxon Daniel and James Lalikeas late in the second put Osoyoos away after a scoreless third period.

The Coyotes take on the North Okanagan Knights on home ice in Osoyoos on Wednesday, Oct. 9, starting at 7:35 p.m.
