The Town of Oliver is looking to bring back retired municipal manager Tom Szalay as its interim chief administrative officer.
On Monday, council is expected to appoint Szalay to the position because current CAO Cathy Cowan is away temporarily due to a personal family matter.
Szalay, a professional engineer, spent many years as the Town’s manager before retiring in 2014.
“Pleased to be back? Well . . . we’ll see,” he joked in correspondence to the Town.
