Loblaw Companies Limited has expressed its thanks to Wally and Terri Brogan of SuperValu for their dedication to serving the residents of Oliver for more than 40 years.

With a focus on superior customer service and involvement in the community, Terri and Wally made their customers feel like an extension of their family, the company said.

“Terri and Wally have always led by example,” said Andrew MacIsaac, vice-president of Affiliated Independents Division, Loblaw Companies Limited.  “They have served as mentors to many of our store owners and will be missed.”

The SuperValu store in Oliver will officially close on April 30.

The company wishes Wally and Terri continued happiness as they start the next chapter of their lives together.

Loblaw will continue to operate a store on the current SuperValu, with a No Frills store this summer to provide the residents of Oliver with No Name and President’s Choice products.

“As the store owner of Kevin’s No Frills, I am excited to serve the community and I look forward to continuing the tradition of great customer service started by Terri and Wally,” said Kevin Meyer.
