It was a great season for the Oliver Curling Club, with new members joining and the junior curling program seeing huge expansion.
The Club held it’s annual wind-up Saturday evening at Eastlink Curling Centre.
Mike Johnson and his rink barbequed the steaks, and league winners, for day and night leagues, were honoured with glass mugs for their achievements.
Among those presented with special trophies were Polly McKay and Dave Arnold, board members who went above and beyond in their efforts to grow the club.
Also honoured was outgoing President Dale Dodge, who was presented with a special award by Joyce Kuzyk for his many years of service to the board.
Everyone is already looking forward to next October, and the start of another season.
The Oliver Curling Club AGM is set for May.
