Oliver United Church recently welcomed its new minister, Wade Lifton.
He is a candidate for ordained ministry in the United Church of Canada.
His work has ranged from co-founding a rainwater harvesting project in Ghana to working with people of all ages in church, camp and retreat settings.
Lifton has studied musical theatre, theology, youth ministry and social change leadership, and is currently in the Centre for Courage and Renewal’s facilitator preparation program.
A playful and contemplative extrovert, Lifton believes cookies and dancing are essential to building a better world.
