The Town of Oliver has released another round of previously closed resolutions to the public.

Most of the items, from July 22 to November 25, 2013 deal with airport leases.

Other items include election officer remunerations, Public Works staffing and a zoning bylaw infraction.

The basic pay rates for election officials were set as follows: $46.56 per hour for the chief election officer, $40.21 for the deputy chief election officer, $35 per hour for the presiding election officer, and $15 per hour for the polling clerk.

The meal allowance for all positions was set at $30 per day.

Council released a zoning bylaw infraction decision regarding a non-conforming fence. Staff sent a letter requesting that a resident’s front fence be moved to the property line by July 1, 2014.

The owner was advised that he/she could apply for a variance for the height of the fence. The owner was informed that the side fence was also non-conforming but will be permitted to remain as is.

In another resolution, council approved a $10,000 funding advance for the 2014 Frank Venables Theatre joint operating budget. That has since changed to $15,000.
