Oliver Light Up has begun, so be sure to check out what’s happening downtown.
It all started at 3 p.m. at Royal LePage where Santa arrived to have photographs taken with children.
In downtown there is face painting, wine tasting, crafts, caroling and a Christmas wreath contest.
Santa arrives at the Town Hall at 5:45 p.m., followed by carols sung by the OES Choir. The official Light Up with dignitaries is at 6:15 p.m.
From there, head down to the Oliver Community Centre and park for more activities, including a bonfire and fireworks at 7:30 p.m.
