A male and female were rescued from Okanagan River this afternoon when their float craft became stuck under a drop structure near Road 9.
Police and firefighters were called to the scene where a young couple in a large float craft could not escape after becoming stuck in currents under the structure.
Firefighters lowered life jackets to the couple while rescue crews set up a rope retrieval system, which saw a crew member swim out to the craft and take the individuals to shore.
No one appeared injured during the ordeal.
