The second concert in this season’s Music at the Elks blues series features Kelowna musician Rick “Poppa Dawg” Halisheff on Wednesday.

Poppa Dawg has played in Osoyoos in the past, including a concert at the Elks in 2017.

He was a semi-finalist in the 2013 International Blues Challenge.

“He’s really popular,” said Earl Krushelnicki, who lines up performers for Music at the Elks.

Poppa Dawg plays electric and acoustic blues. Although he often plays as a trio, he will be performing solo at Elks Hall.

Doors open at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28 and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Mills Office Productivity.
