Repair work on the irrigation canal at Gallagher Lake has changed the original opening date from April 11 to April 18.
The Town may be able to send water through the canal by April 13 or 14, depending on how the work is going and there are no complications. But the repair may require a few days to assess to ensure everything is ready for water flow.
The Town will strive for irrigation turn-ons starting the week of April 18.
