Incumbent Osoyoos Mayor Sue McKortoff’s life is her community and her volunteering. After serving a three-year term as councillor and a four-year term as mayor, she’s seeking another term as mayor. In the 2014 election, she beat her only opponent this time, Doug “Stone Dan” Pederson, by 1,285 votes to 54. Still, she’s not taking victory for granted and she’s campaigning hard.
