The Oliver RCMP is investigating the theft of two compact tractors stolen from a local equipment supply store along Highway 97. Two Kubota tractors with a total value of $34,000 were loaded and spirited away late Monday night.
On Monday, July 1 the Oliver RCMP received a report of a theft of two Kubota tractors from Gerard’s Equipment & Sales located on Highway 97 south of Oliver.
Scene examination revealed that the suspects peeled back a section of fencing and drove the units off the lot and likely loaded them onto a flat-deck trailer.
