Oliver and District Recreation has advised that a swimming advisory has been issued for Tuc El Nuit Lake at Rotary Beach Park effective June 27 2025.

Sampling of the water on June 23 has indicated the amount of E Coli in the water is higher than acceptable level for recreational use.

Users are advised to refrain from activities in which a person’s whole body and face are frequently immersed in the water (i.e. swimming).

boating, paddling, playing in the sand and other non-contact uses of the water are excluded from the advisory notice.

The recreation department has highlighted alternatives to cool off including: Kinsmen Park Splash Park, or the Oliver Community Pool.
