The Oliver Fire Department is set for another year of delivering decibels of holiday cheer throughout the neighbourhoods of Oliver with its annual Christmas Caroling Firetruck event.
For over 20 years the yuletide procession, led by the department’s 1953 firetruck, has been spreading holiday cheer as it ‘carols’ its way around town handing out candy canes and brightening up streets as it goes.
Each night starting around 6 p.m. from Dec. 17-23 the decorated Chevy Maple Leaf Fire Truck will be winding its way through Oliver’s neighbourhoods on designated routes (see below). The procession will travel up and down the various streets within the yellow lines on the maps.
