One of Osoyoos’ newest businesses – Wayside Select Books & Art – is also adding some much-needed gallery space to the town.

As Wayside’s Dan Williams comments there is an abundance of artists in the area and space for showing is always in demand.

The venue has a large wall that is ideal for hanging art pieces, he adds.

The first show starts with the work of Peter Scott on July 22 to the first week of Sept.

A concurrent event takes place on July 29 at 7 p.m. featuring oral storytelling in an African vein by Shayna Jones. Tickets are $25 available at Wayside Select Books & Art for that event.
