Business is not only looking up, it’s “opening up” in the South Okanagan as far as the WOW trade show in Oliver is concerned.
After a year off from COVID-19, the show was back in action today at the community centre with approximately 40 vendors, most of whom weren’t wearing masks now that the mandate has been repealed.
Several vendors that the Times-Chronicle spoke to expressed their optimism that life (and business) was “opening up” again after two years of basically sheltering in place. You could say these entrepreneurs have a little more “spring” in their step and are looking forward to putting the pandemic behind them for now.
Everything from jewelry, soaps, dog sweaters and reflexology was on display for curious eyes to see.
Stay tuned for the full story in the next edition of the Times-Chronicle.
