Oliver RCMP took a motorhome off the road today after it failed to stop on Highway 97.
Detachment commander Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth said police attempted to pull over a 1985 motorhome but it failed to do so immediately.
“It obeyed all other traffic rules, did not speed and was eventually pulled over in town,” he said.
Wrigglesworth noted the vehicle had no insurance and the driver had an expired licence. As a result, the motorhome was towed and the driver received a number of violation tickets under the Motor Vehicle Act.
