A Ford SUV was destroyed by fire near Oliver this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to a location on McKinney Road, several kilometres east of town where the vehicle was totally engulfed by flames at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The driver managed to escape the vehicle, and no injuries were reported. The blaze was extinguished within minutes of fire crews arriving.
The cause is still under investigation.
