The Town of Oliver is notifying effected properties for a shut down of the water system on Monday April 20 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.There will likely be water back on by noon on that day, but a section of Main Street will be re-routed by flaggers and signs, so traffic to businesses may be effected on both sides from School Avenue to Bank Avenue.
The work taking place is to replace a failed valve and public works staff thought it best to accomplish this on a Monday – because some businesses are closed – and complete this earlier in the spring before heavy traffic volumes pick up on Main Street.
